Left parties express concern over delay in Koda's cabinet expansion

Ranchi, Oct 6 (UNI) The BJP's deteat the sole agenda in the run up to the November 6 by-election to the Koderma parliamentary seat, the left parties in Jharkhand today appealed to secular political parties to field a common candidate.

The CPM, CPI, Forward Bloc and RSP today held a joint meeting here and discussed strategies to fight the coming poll.

They said their main agenda would be to 'defeat BJP' and resolved to work in this direction.

The Left parties felt the political parties would have to keep aside their ''petty interests'' if they wanted to halt the march of communal forces in the state.

Concern was also expressed over the delay in expansion of the Madu Koda-led UPA government stated that the squabble for portfolios and ministerial berth a negative among the allies had already brought image to the ruling alliance.

They appealed to the other UPA allies to sink their personal differnces, keeping in mind the interest of the people.
