Left parties express concer over delay in Koda's cabinet expansion
Ranchi, Oct 6 (UNI) Making 'defeat BJP' the sole agenda in the run up to the Novermber 6 by-election to Koderma parliamentary seat, the left parties in Jharkhand today appealed to secular political parties to field a common candidate in the fray.
CPM, CPI, Borward Bloc and RSP today held a joint meeting here and discussed on the strategy to fight the coming poll.
They said their main agenda would be to 'defeat BJP' and resolved to work in this direction.
The Left parties felt the political parties would have to keep aside their petty interests if they want to halt the march of communal forces in the state.
The meeting also expressed concern over the delay in expansion of the Madu Koda-led UPA government saying the squabble for portfolios and ministerial berth among the allies had already brought image to the ruling alliance.
They appealed to the other UPA allies to sink their personal agin keeping in mind the interest of the people.
