Jayamala trying to divert attention from inquiry
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 6: Kerala Devaswom Minister G Sudhakaran today said Kannada actor Jayamala's allegation against him was to divert the attention from the inquiry.
Reacting to Ms Jaimala's allegation that she had been made a ''scapegoat'' in a conspiracy by three people, including the Minister, Mr Reddy told reporters here that ''I feel that she is not normal as a normal person will not make such allegations to me as I have not involved in any controversies.'' He alleged that some vested interests in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and even in the Devaswom Board were using the actress as their ''tool'' to create unwanted controversies.
The Minister warned that if she did not stop such controversies, the Government would be forced for a probe including the source of the allegations.
He said that he had no connection with astrologer Unnikrishnan Panicker, whereas the actress had known him, as he had conducted poojas in her house.
