IOC official Manjunath murder case posted to Nov 7
Lakhimpur Kheri, Oct 6 (UNI) The next hearing in the high-profile Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) official V Manjunath murder case was today posted to November 7 and 8.
District standing counsel submitted an application in the court of district judge S M Abdi expressing inability to produce witnesses in the case today and tomorrow.
Later, the judge deferred the hearing till November 7.
Several witnesses have already turned hostile in the case.
Manjunath's bullet riddled body was found in the nearby Sitapur district on November 19, 2005.
The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L) alumni was an upright government servant and had taken a tough stand against adulteration of fuel at some petrol outlets in the district.
