HP's ProCurve Networking unveils LAN switches for Indian SMBs

New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) HP's ProCurve Networking, a leading supplier of enterprise networking solutions, today launched three product lines of stackable Ethernet LAN switches for the Small and Medium sized businesses (SMB) in India, priced from Rs 8,983 onwards.

The three compact switches -- 2810, 1800, and 2501-24 series, feature fanless or reduced noise operation, an intuitive web-based user interface and a simple set-up to enable seamless and high-performance operation.

''This is the first time ProCurve has launched such a large group of switched for the SMB market, including the first 8-port web-managed gigabit switch from any global vendor and two switches which can sit on a desktop. These switches come at affordable pricing,'' ProCurve Networking Business Asia Pacific and Japan Product Manager Paul Whidby told reporteres here.

The prices of the products range from Rs 8,983 to Rs 1,91,575.

ProCurve is fairly new to the Indian market, but commands a 8 per cent market share worldwide.

The ProCurve Networking business unit of HP delivers enterprise networking solutions comprising wired and wireless LAN and WAN networking products, services and solutions.
