Jessica Lal murder: Vinod Sharma resigns

New Delhi, Oct 6: Haryana Power, Public Works and Environment Minister Vinod Sharma today resigned keeping in view the name of his son Manu Sharma figuring in the Jessica Lal murder case pending trial in court, AICC general secretary incharge of the state Janardan Dwivedi said.

Mr Sharma has handed over his resignation to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Mr Dwivedi told UNI.
