'Darbar' moves to Jammu on October 27
Srinagar, Oct 6 (UNI) The Civil Secretariat and other related offices in Jammu and Kashmir will close here for biannual 'darbar move' on October 27 to reopen in the winter capital on November 6, an official spokesman said today.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department here, the 'darbar move' offices observing five-day week would close here on October 27 while those functioning for six days in a week on October 28.
All the offices would reopen at Jammu on November 6, he added.
The spokesman said in view of Diwali and Eid-ul-Fitr, the employees of the Jammu division could avail special casual leave of four days from October 23 in addition to move days and resume duties on November 6 at the winter capital.
