UCO Bank sets Rs 2000 cr retail business target in FY06-07

Kolkata, Oct 05 (UNI) UCO Bank today said it was aiming at Rs 2,000 crore business from the retail banking.

The Bank expects its branches to contribute around Rs 1,500 crore of retail business, Chairman and Managing Director V Sridar told reporters here while launching the retail sales force of the region.

Altogether Rs 500 crore of business is expected from the newly launched retail sales force, he said.

Mr Sridar said the Bank, which had targetted Rs 1,10,000 crore total business for 2006-07, had crossed business of Rs 97,000 crore till September.
