Two militants killed, and one arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 5 (UNI) Two militants were killed and another was arrested in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said.

They said an encounter took place between militants and security forces at Serigam, Lolab in the frontier district of Kupwara late last night.

One foreign militant was killed in an hour-long encounter, they said adding one A K rifle and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.

Another militant was killed by the security forces in an encounter at Ajas, Bandipora in north Kashmir, they said. The encounter ensued after a search party was attacked by the militants.

Security forces arrested a militant at Keller in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
