Bangalore, Oct 5 (UNI) Tamil actor Prithviraj and his wife had to spend some anxious movements at the Airport here as Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) sub-inspector declined to allow their 11-year-old son to accompany them in Chennai-bound Air Deccan flight.

However, after CISF Inspector and Air Deccan staff intervention, the family was allowed to proceed.

Mr Prithviraj, his wife Beena Mohan and son arrived to board the flight. At the checking area the sub-inspector reportedly misread his son's behaviuor. When questioned by the actor, the official quoted a sector under the 1937 Aircraft Rule. The actor had to answer some insensitive questions about his son, which the oppicial captured on his handycam and released to a television channel.

Top CISF official at the airport said persons with disabilities, according to the rule book, required medical certificate and had to be accompanied by an attendant. This was for the safety of the other passengers. In the case of actor's son, the official said the sub-inspector referred the case to his superior. Once the safety issue was cleared and since the boy was to be accompanied by his parents he was allowed to go.

Mr Prithviraj said the security personal could not pinpoint the rule and had asked him to return the next day. Only after bringing the matter to the higher ups they were allowed to proceed.
