SWR's new goods shed to come up in Hubli

Hubli, Oct 5 (UNI) South Western Railway (SWR) General Manager Triloknath Perti today laid the foundation stone for the construction of a goods shed at Navaluru, near here.

The present goods shed, located in the Hubli railway station premises, would be shifted to the Navaluru shed after completion of the construction work.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Perti said that with a view to develop Hubli station, a zonal headquarters station, the existing goods shed at the station had been proposed to be shifted to Navaluru. The SWR would take up development works at the Hubli station, which had only four platforms at present.
