Subex wins inter-connect billing system deal in Omantel

Bangalore, Oct 5 (UNI) Subex Azure Ltd, a leading revenue maximisation solutions vendor for telecom operators, today announced that it had won a deal to implement an inter-connect billing system for Omantel, the Oman telecommunications company.

Following a competitive tender by the Oman Government board, the Subex Azure Inter-connect Billing System (SAIBS) was chosen to provide inter-connect billing for both Omantel and Oman Mobile, according to a company release here.

Company Founder-Chairman, Managing Director and CEO Subash Menon said ''Inter-connect billing is a vital part of an operator's business, therefore having the right tools is essential. The SAIBS will help Omantel assure its revenues and enable it to continue to provide high quality telecommunication services.'' SAIBS was a highly flexible and scalable product, which enabled operators to quickly and accurately settle inter-connect agreements with their network partners.
