SP National Executive meeting on October 14-15 at Haridwar

Dehra Dun, Oct 5 (UNI) Samajwadi Party's National Executive meeting will be held at Haridwar on October 14 and 15, party General Secretary Vinod Barthwal said here today.

Mr Barthwal informed mediapersons that SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav would preside over the meeting, which will discuss a strategy on elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and a political resolution would be passed.

He said special review on the preparedness for election in Uttaranchal would also be conducted.

''Comprehensive discussion will be held on Uttaranchal and common policy will be chalked out for both hilly and plain areas,'' he said.

He also pointed at chalking out a firm policy looking into the political situation in Uttar Pradesh where SP was being targeted from all sides.

Issues such as local unit elections in UP, agriculture, unemployment, permanent capital, tourism and Vidhya Kanyadhan Yojna would also be discussed in the meeting, he added.
