Somalia woman passenger arrested with forged passport in Kolkata
Kolkata, Oct 5 (UNI) An UK bound woman passenger, a Somalia national, was arrested at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport here today with forged passport.
Immigration officials said that Nimma Sayeed Warsem was trying to go to London by an Air-India flight with forged passport.
During interrogation, it was revealed that she is a citizen of Somalia and had entered India in 2003 with her original passport.
While studying Dental Science at a Bangalore College in Karnataka she misplaced her passport. She then bought the forged passport of South Africa from a tout.
Immigration officials also chanced upon two of her friends who had similarly purchased forged passport from a tout and were staying in a Kolkata hotel. All the three have been arrested.
