Red Cross Society to set up Nursing College
Bhopal, Oct 5 (UNI) Red Cross Society's Madhya Pradesh unit will set up a nursing and paramedical college in the state.
A decision to this effect was taken by the society's managing committee presided over by Society Chairman Mukesh Nayak.
The managing committee also approved the proposal for installation of machines including digital X-ray, MRI, BMD and colour doppler.
Meanwhile, the state government has simplified the existing provisions for conducting nursing, para-medical and medical courses in private colleges.
The state government also prepared the draft policy for participation of private sector in the management of health services to ensure better health care services in remote areas with the assistance of private sector and NGOs. Suggestions with regard to the policy would be invited by this month end, while the policy would be finalised by November end, official sources said.
