Pillai new development commissioner of Bihar

Patna,Oct5 (UNI) Senior IAS officer R J M Pillai has been appointed the development commissioner of Bihar.

According to notification issued by the state government, Mr. Pillai who is currently holding the post of Principal Secretary to the Governor, has been made development commissioner.

The post of development commissioner had fallen vacant following the appointment of its earlier incumbent A K Chaudhary as State Chief Secretary.

Mr Pillai would assume the charge tomorrow.
