NSA reviews security ahead of Diwali, Ramzan
New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) National Security Advisor (NSA) M K Narayanan today reviewed the internal security situation in the context of the forthcoming festival season.
Home Secretary V K Duggal, Delhi Police Commissioner K K Paul and top officials of Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the Home Ministry attended the two-hour-long meeting.
While Mr Narayanan told mediapersons outside North Block that it was a routine exercise, ministry sources said the NSA reviewed the national security situation in the context of the forthcoming festivals.
The meeting discussed at length the security measures to be taken during Diwali and Ramzan towards the end of this month.
