No dengue cases in HP, says Principal Health Secretary
Shimla, Oct 5 (UNI) No dengue case has been reported from anywhere in the state so far, Himachal Pradesh Principal Health Secretary Harinder Hira said today.
Ms Hira said in response to reports in a section of the press that two people, suffering from the fever, have been detected in Solan district of the state.
''If any Dengue case has been reported, it could only be possible due to migration of patients from other states to Himachal. But, as of now, no such case has been reported,'' she told UNI.
She said the state government has already directed all Chief Medical Officers, particularly in border areas, to maintain vigil and to report any case of fever immediately.
''We have also informed all hospitals to maintain cleanliness and take all precautionary measures.'' MORE UNI AS VKJ HS KN2105
