Nigeria militants say army razed oil delta village

ABUJA, Oct 5 (Reuters) Nigerian militant group MEND said today the army had razed a village in the oil producing Niger Delta and it was considering reprisal attacks on troops or oil installations in Rivers state.

Army spokesmen were not immediately available. MEND said in an email to journalists no one was killed in the army's attack on the community of Elem-Tombia in Rivers because residents had fled.
