Navy hospital in memory of drowned students in Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 5 (UNI) In a goodwill gesture, the Navy will construct a 15-bed hospital at Handwara in Jammu and Kashmir's border district of Kupwara in memory of 22 children drowned in a boat capsize in Wullar Lake on May 20, an official spokesman said today.
He said the hospital would be built at an estimated cost of Rs 1.50 crore.
The Navy officials have identified the land for the hospital at Handwara.
