Micro Technologies products gets nod from Dptt of Explosives

New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) Micro Technologies India Ltd today said it has secured approval from Department of Explosives of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for its security products to be used in petroleum road tankers, enabling it to access the Rs 5,000 crore market in India.

The company's products will help in maintaining security-cum- safety in industries dealing with Inflammable products.

Through this initiative, Micro Technologies can target segments like petroleum, petrochemical, liquor, arms and ammunitions.

It has initiated the entrance in to this industry with the approval of Micro Vehicle Black Box (Micro VBB) and many more such products lined up for getting approval. Micro VBB is a security and life support solution for vehicles with features like intrusion detection, tracking, seal monitoring and audio-visual alerts.

The company develops security and IT products including embedded, web-based and client server applications. Some of its focus areas comprise security, e-commerce, telecommunication, wireless technology and GIS.

It is also one of the few companies to procure CCOE certification for petroleum tankers, a company statemen said.
