Heavy rains likely at several places

Pune, Oct 5 (UNI) The southwest monsoon been vigorous in Orissa. It has been subdued over east Uttar Pradesh,Gujrat Region,Viidarbha,Chattisrarh,Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

In the regions where southwest monsoon withdrawal has taken place day tempatures were markedly above normal in east Rajasthan and northwest Madhya Pradesh and were appreciably above normal in Uttar Pradesh,Uttaranchal,Haryana,Himachal Pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir,west Rajasthan and north Gujrat State and were above normal in Punjab.

Night tempratures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Haryana,east Rajasthan,northwest Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of north Gujrat Region and were above normal in Uttar Pradesh,Uttaranchal,Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan and were normal over Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

Heavy rains are likely to occure at most places in Andman and Nicobar Islands.Rain or thundershowers are likely to occure at a many pplaces in Arunachal Pradesh,Assam and Meghalaya,Nagaland, Manipur,Mizoram,Tripura,West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa,Konkan and Goa,coastal Karnataka and at a few places in Jharkhand,Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu,Kerala,Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Bihar,Jammu and Kashmir,east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha,Chattisgarh,south Gujrat State,Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka.Mainly dry weather prevail over the Uttar Pradesh, Uttaracnahl, Haryana, Punjab,Himachal Pradesh,Rajasthan,west Madhya Pradesh and north Gujrat State.

Heavy rain have occured at most places in Andman and Nicobar Islands and at many places in Orissa.

Very light rain have occured at isolated places inTelangana,interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at most places coastal Karnataka and at in Assam and Meghalaya,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram, Tripura,Jharkhand and at a few places in West Bengal and Sikkim, Koakan and Goa,Madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada,coastal Andhra Pradesh,Tamil Nadu,Kerala and at isolated places in Arunachal pradesh,Chattisgarh, Gujrat Region,Rayalseema,north interior Karnataka,south interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather prevailed over the Bihar,Uttar Pradesh,Uttaranchal,Haryana,Punjab,Himachal Pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir,Rajasthan,Madhya Pradesh,Vidarbha,Saurashtra and Kutch.
