Global investors meet in Oct 07

Bhopal, Oct 5 (UNI) The global investors meet, scheduled to be held in January next year to attract industrial investment in Madhya Pradesh, will now be held on October 4-5, 2007, it was officially announced today.

FICCI General Secretary Amit Mitra has informed the state government about the postponement and said many big industrialists and investors were expected to attend it, an official release said.

The Madhya Pradesh Trade Investment Corporation will host the Destination Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Meet.

To take advantage of the Pravasi Bharatiya meet scheduled in New Delhi from January 7-9 next year in which a large number of non-resident Indians from various parts of the world participate, the state government representatives will be meeting a select group of NRIs of Madhya Pradesh origin at Khajuraho on January 16 and 17.

A roadshow is being organised in Mumbai this month to attract capital investment.
