Four US soldiers killed near Baghdad

Baghdad, Oct 5: Four US soldiers were killed in an attack near Baghdad today, the second time in as many days that US forces have suffered such heavy casualties in a single incident around the Iraqi capital.

''Four Multi-National Division.VBaghdad Soldiers died at approximately 9 am (1130 hrs IST) today when terrorists attacked their patrol with indirect and small-arms fire northwest of Baghdad,'' the military said in a statement.
