Four dacoits including a woman arrested

Dholpur, Oct 5 (UNI) Police have arrested notorious dacoit Kallu Kachi and three of his gang members, including a woman, in Dholpur district.

Superintendent of police Prafulla Kumar said a police team led by Sepau police station incharge Manohar Lal Meena surrounded the Rajkumar-Kallu gang in Parvati ravines last night.

The dacoits fired 35 rounds of shots at the police, who in turn, fired 15 rounds. Dacoit Gattan and Rajkumar managed to escape but four others were caught.

Mr Kumar said country-made rifles and cartridges were recovered from Kallu and other members. He said the Dina-Kallu gang was almost finished with the arrest of Kallu. Dina had been arrested sometime back and is currently in jail.

The SP said cases under Section 599,402, 307 under the Indian Arms Act have been lodged at Sepau police station.
