Court to decide fate of five accused tomorrow

Mumbai, Oct 5 (UNI) A TADA court, which has so far convicted 28 accused and acquitted another 13 out of the total 123 who faced trial in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case, would decide the fate of five more under trials tomorrow.

They are Suleman Ghawte, Sheikh Aziz, Sheikh Mohammed Etesham, Ismail Patel and Shahid Quereshi.

All except Quereshi are out on bail.

All five have been accused of having participated in conspiracy meetings in Dubai and Mumbai. But they did not go to Pakistan for training in arms because their co-conspirtors failed to make the required arrangements.

Quereshi has been additionally charged with having participated in the landing of arms and ammunition at Shekhadi coast in Riagad district of Maharashtra in February, 1993.
