Cong-PDP alliance is a perpetual union, says PDP leader

Jammu, Oct 5 (UNI) Asserting that the Congress-PDP coalition would complete its full term of six years, Jammu and Kashmir Finance Minister Tariq Hameed Qarra has said political alliance is not temporary but a perpetual union with the partnership committed to contest even the next election together in the State.

Addressing a rally after inaugurating realignment project of Nallah connecting Gumat with Dogra Chowk here last evening, the finance minister said the disgruntled and political opportunists have tried their best to create fissures among the ruling coalition but all their efforts TO BE proved abortive and IN vain.

Maintaining that perfect coordination exists among the coalition partners, Qarra said those dreaming of break in natural political relationship would, despite their ill designs to fashion misunderstanding and confounded confusion, are bound to fail frantically while making a specific reference to regional disparity issue.

''the political trailblazers tried to rope in regional discrimination to disrupt the developmental work of the coalition.

By raising the issues of separate state for jammu and union territory status for Ladakh, a well-planned strategy was chalked out not only to USURP the coalition but also to divide people on regional and sub-regional lines, '' he said.
