Bollywood actor Kangan's sister injured in acid attack

Dehra Dun, Oct 5 (UNI) Bollywood actress Kangana Ranawat sister and her friend were injured in an acid attack here today.

According to police sources, Rangoli Ranawat, sister of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranawat and Vijaya Jublani both from Bambola Mandi, Himachal Pradesh studying Msc Biotech in Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology were called out of their rented house at Rispana Nagar by an unidentified person saying that a draft was to be delivered to Rangoli.

As soon as both the girls came out, he allegedly threw acid on them and fled. Both the girls were rushed to Doon Hospital from where they were referred to Life Line Hospital.

Doctor Mohit Goyal treating the girls said that Rangoli has sustained 10 per cent burn on her cheeks chest, hands and legs while Vijaya sustained 5 per cent burns on her hands.

The two girls said that the person was wearing a blue T- shirt and a cap.

According to police no case has been so far registered, as both the girls were waiting for their parents to arrive.
