Bellary records highest max temp of 32.2 deg Cel

Bangalore, Oct 5 (UNI) Following are the Summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today.

Monsoon was weak over Interior Karnataka.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall in cm: Kundapur 6; Puttur 5; Mangalore, Dharmasthala, Honavar 3 each; Mani, Gerusoppa, Karwar, Panambur, Mangalore AP, Biligi, Sandur 2 each; Mulki, Subramanya, Karkala, Kumta, Koppal, Shiralkoppa, Gudibande 1 each.

Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were normal over the State.

Minimum temperatures changed little and were normal over the State.

Bellary recorded highest maximum temperature of 32.2 degree Celsius and Chamarajnagara lowest minimum temperature of 18.4 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over Uttara Kannada district; at a few places over Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts and at isolated places over remaining districts of the State.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 31 degree Celsius and 20 degree Celsius respectively.
