5 injured in fire in north-east Delhi
New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) Five people, including a teenaged girl, suffered burns after a house in north-east Delhi's Karawal Nagar caught fire this evening.
The fire was set off by an LPG cylinder blast at 1940 hrs in the house in the Chand Nagar locality in Karawal Nagar. One fire tender was sent to douse the blaze, which was soon contained, fire brigade sources said.
While four people suffered 20-35 per cent burns in the fire, a 17-year-old girl, Tabassum, sustained 60 per cent burns, the sources added.
All the five injured were admitted to G T B hospital, they said.
