Teenager Traore named in Burkina Faso squad

OUAGADOUGOU, Oct 4 (Reuters) Burkina Faso have named teenage striker Alain Traore from French side AJ Auxerre in a 23-man squad for their African Nations Cup finals Group Seven qualifier against Senegal in Ouagadougou on Saturday.

Traore is one of three strikers called up by coach Idrissa Traore after Burkina Faso's surprise 2-1 loss in Tanzania in their opening qualifier last month.

The 17-year-old Traore made his debut for Auxerre at the start of this season and played twice in the UEFA Cup last month.

Recalled are Issouf Kone, who plays with Rosenborg in Norway, and Narcisse Yameogo, who plays in the second division in Portugal.
