Srna, Olic uncertain for England qualifier

ZAGREB, Oct 4 (Reuters) Croatia's offensive midfielder Darijo Srna will not play in the Group E Euro 2008 qualifier against Andorra on Saturday and may also miss the match against England four days later, state radio reported today.

''Srna had to leave the team's training session because of a muscle rupture,'' the radio report said.

CSKA Moscow forward Ivica Olic is also uncertain for the coming qualifiers in Zagreb because of a knee injury.

If Olic is ruled out, coach Slaven Bilic said he would call up uncapped Parma striker Igor Budan.

Russia, Israel, Macedonia and Estonia are also in Group E.

The 24-year-old Srna was the key player in Croatia's qualifying campaign for the World Cup in Germany. He scored five times, including the goals in two 1-0 wins against top group rivals Sweden.

Bilic recalled Srna for the Andorra and England matches after he had expelled him and two other players for leaving the training camp to go to a nightclub before the opening qualifier in Moscow, which ended in a goalless draw.
