Show cause notice to State BJP Chief Vala

Rajkot, Oct 4 (UNI) Civil Court Judge P M Davda today served show-cause notice to state BJP chief Vajubhai Vala and four others in response to a suit filed by two dissident BJP members yesterday, challenging the constitutional validity of the constituted booth committee and ward committee elections of the BJP here.

The other members to whom show-cause notices served are: Bharatsinh Parmar, election Incharge, Ranchhod Rabari, Rajkot Prabhari, Sandhya Vyas, returning Officer and Vibhavari Dave, observer.

Yesterday, the BJP dissident members Prabhatbhai Dangar and Jagdishbhai Gohel had filed suit in the court of Civil Judge P M Davda against BJP chiefs Vajubhai Vala, Ranchhodbhai Rabari, Sandhyaben Vyas and Vibhavariben stating that the elections were not undertaken as per constituional norms by the Election observers of the party for the Booth Committee and Ward Committee (organisational elections).
