Policeman shot dead in Kohima

Kohima, Oct 4 (UNI) Unidentified gunmen shot dead a policeman working with the Police Wireless Workshop at BOC area here.

Official sources said the victim succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Director General of Police (DGP) J Chankija had rushed to the spot after the incident and taken stock of the situation.

Meanwhile, the Police has registered a case and investigation was on to apprehend the culprits and to ascertain the cause of killing.
