Police resort to lathicharge to disperse crowd

Dharwad, Karnataka, Oct 4 (UNI) Police today resorted to mild lathicharge to disperse people, who had gathered to look at a hotel, which was attacked and ransacked by a group of 15 people.

Police said the group had attacked the hotel late last night, causing a loss of over Rs 50,000 and looting Rs two lakh in cash.

Four people have been arrested in connection with the attack.
