PM to arrive in Mumbai on a two day visit
Mumbai, Oct 4: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will arrive here tomorrow on a two-day visit, official sources said.
He is sheduled to lay the foundation stone for the 'western portion dedicated freight corridor project' at the railway ground in Parel, at 16:00 hrs tomorrow.
On October 6th, he will inaugurate the new Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) building at the Bandra-Kurla complex, at 09:30 hrs.
Afterwards, he will participate in the platinum jubilee celebration of the National Academy of Science at IIT Powai, at 11:00 hrs.
Subsequently, he is slated for attending a programme at the Bhartiya Vidhya Bhavan, at Charni Road at 12:25 hrs.
He will also be the Chief Guest at the Economic Times (ET) awards function at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA), at 17:30 hrs, officials added.
