Planman media launches weekly 'The Sunday Indian'
Mumbai, Oct 4: After the overwhelming success of 'Business and Economy' and 4P's Business and Marketing magazines in a short span of their market existence, Planman Media - a division of Planman Consulting - is back with another features magazine 'The Sunday Indian'.
'The Sunday Indian' is the world's first magazine to be circulated in five different languages from day one and features international content including politics, lifestyle, economic trends, entertainment and global columnists - tailored for the Indian readers.
The magazine was launched by the Editor-in-Chief Professor Arindam Chaudhuri along with a galaxy of luminaries like Piyush Pandey and Prahlad Kakkar. The other people present were Alyque Padamsee, Prasoon Joshi, filmmaker Ketan Mehta and his wife Deepa Sahi.
On the difference between his magazine and other generic weeklies, Mr Chaudhuri said: ''Sunday Indian is truly a world class magazine in terms of content, analytical abilities, in terms of commitment to bring forth the relevant news and in terms of never seen and experienced before reader-friendly design.'' ''The weekly will be loved by contemporary Indians, looking at globalisation as an opportunity, who are confident of a resurgent India. It caters to every Indian who thinks about issues that matter to India and are proud to be Indian,'' adds Prof Chaudhuri.
'The Sunday Indian' is available on stands from October 1 across India, with a price tag of Rs 20 for English edition, Rs 10 for Hindi, Gujarati and Tamil and Rs 5 for Bengali.
