Pankaj Advani to spearhead Indian challenge in World Snooker

New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) Rajiv Khel Ratna awardee and former champion Pankaj Advani will spearhead the Indian challenge in the World Snooker Championships to be held in Amman, Jordan, from November 4-15.

According to Billiards and Snooker Federation of India vice-president R K Tandon, other members of the team will be Manan Chandra and Yasin Merchant, who is the reserve player.

In the Master's category, Geet Sethi and Devendra Joshi will represent the country, he said.

Anuja Thakur and Vidya Pillay will represent the country in the ladies section of the event.
