One killed in firework mishap

Palakkad, Oct 4 (UNI) One person was killed and his wife seriously injured when their cracker unit caught fire at Chalissery in the district today.

The tragedy occurred when the couple were engaged in making crackers.

The deceased was identified as Subramanian (45), a native of Chalissery.

His wife admitted to a hospital with serious burn injuries.
