National seminar on 'Shaping the future' on Oct 7
Chennai, Oct 4 (UNI) Annamalai University Engineering and Technology Alumni Association (AUETTA) is organising a national seminar on ''Shaping the Future'' here on October seven to 'inspire corporates and educational institutions in shaping the future.' Briefing on the event to newspersons here, Mr V Krishnaswami, Convenor, said distinguished personalities who had impacted positively in shaping the future of the country in their respective fields would share their knowledge with the participants during the seminar.
Eminent speakers include Former Central Vigilance Commission Chairman N Vittal, Mr Mike Wader of Leadership International, USA, The Hindu Editor-in-Chief N Ram, Anna University Vice Chancellor D Viswanathan, Mr S Madhavan of Kellogg Brown and Root, USA, Tata Consultancy Services Senior Advisor P N Murthy and Super Auto Forge Limited Chairman and Managing Director S Seetharaman.
The seminar was also open to students from Arts and Science colleges, Mr Krishnaswami said.
''We want corporates and educational institutions who are going to be the participants of the future to take part. We expect around 200 participants,'' he added.
The students would be given space to display their projects and innovations, which would be decided on merits. They could also showcase their social activities.
The objectives of the association's activities are to promote fellowship among Annamalai University Engineering and Technology graduates, provide employment opportunities and promote enterpreneurship among the alumni and others, he added.
