Mizoram plans Rs 10 cr healthcare scheme

Aizawal, Oct 4 (UNI) Mizoram Chief minister Zoramthanga today said the state government has decided to carry out a new healthcare scheme of Rs 10 crore for the people.

Talking to newsmen here he said the health care scheme would be available for all and not for the government employees only.

''Anyone can subscribe it and the amount will depend on how much the people are willing to spend for the scheme,'' Mr Zoramthanga said.

He also said the scheme would be implemented latest by the next fiscal.

Giving the details of the scheme he said, any one can subscribe to it and money deposited in the scheme would be recoverable after a stipulated period of time.

Mr Zoramthanga also added that this would be beneficial for the general public as it will be able to avail medical facilities during emergency.
