Kanpur footwear unit catches fire, 20 injured

Kanpur, Oct 4 (UNI) At least 20 people received burn injuries -- six of them serious -- when a footwear unit caught fire in Jogiana Park of the industrial town here today.

The fire brigade was pressed into service to control the flames, while the injured were admitted to the hospital.

Recently, the Rupani footwear unit had also caught fire in Kanpur.
