Italian company to invest Rs 600 crore in AP

Hyderabad, Oct 4 (UNI) Italian Company Kamoji Textiles today came forward to set up a textile processing unit in Jangaon town in Warangal District in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs 600 crore.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on a visit to New Delhi, said ''We accepted the proposal. It will have processing facilities for spinning, weaving and textiles'', according to a statement from the Chief Minister's office.

The Chief Minister, who had planned to call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for expediting the announcement of the Centre's policy on Fab city projects, decided to meet him during his next visit.
