DDA exec engineer sentenced to 3-and-a-half years in bribery case
New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) A designated CBI court today sentenced an executive engineer of the DDA to three-and-a-half years imprisonment for seeking bribe from a contractor.
Accused P C D Pamnani, executive engineer with the DDA, was also fined Rs 7,000 by Special Judge Vinod Goel.
Pamnani had sought Rs 4,000 from Mohammad Akram, a contractor who had made modifications in the computer room, on May 31, 2001 for passing his bill. He was arrested in a trap laid by the police.
