BPCL wins 5-2 in Lal Bahadur Shashtri hockey

New Delhi, Oct4(UNI) Pundlik and Joginder scored two goals each as BPCL beat ONGC 5-2 in the 17th Lal Bahadur Shashtri Hockey Tournament here today.

Pundalik scored in the 3rd and 63rd minutes while Joginder scored in the 21st and 51st minutes.The other goal was scored by Amar Aiyamma in the 32nd minute.

For ONGC, Ranjeet (48 min) and Parmod Kumar (53 min) were the scorers.

BPCL were leading 3-0 at half time.

In another match, Indian Oil drew 1-1 with PNB. Indian Oil took the lead in the 3rd minute through a fine goal by Roshan Minz only to be equalised in the 38th minute by Daman Deep from a penalty stroke.
