Bahujans should crush caste leadership: Ambedkar
Akola, Oct 4 (UNI) The caste Politics should be stopped immediately for the welfare and development of the masses, Bharipa Bhahujan Mahasangh Chief and former MP Dr Balasaheb Ambedkar, the Grand son of late Dr B R Ambedkar has said.
Addressing a public meeting at the Akola cricket club ground here last night to clebrate the Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din (conversion day of Buddhism), he cautioned the 'Bahujan Sanaj' about the communal tendency being encouraged by the caste leadership.
The celebration was organised by the district unit of Bhartiya Baudhha Mahasabha and the district unit chief of BBM N M Ingle presided the function.
Earlier a huge rally was taken out through the main street of the city to the venue of the meeting. Dr Balasaheb Ambedkar, Haridas Bhirad, BRP BMS Mla, Balmukund Bhirad the president of Akola zilla parisad Participated in the procession.
