Actress Bhagyashree's kin joins NCP

Mumbai, Oct 4 (UNI) Mr Vijayraje Patwardhan, belonging to the royal family from Sangli today joined the NCP.

''I have joined this party to put Sangli on the developmental path'', Mr Patwardhan told reporters after he was inducted into the party by state unit president Arun Gujarathi.

He will formally join NCP at Sangli on October six in the presence of Sharad Pawar along with former BJP veteran Anna Dange at a public meeting.

Mr Patwardhan is a close relative of actress Bhagyashree.
