4 of a family die in landslide

Itanagar, Oct 4 (UNI) Four members of a family were killed and two others were seriously injured in a landslide triggered by incessant rains, police today said.

The incident occurred yesterday near Asom's Banderdewa check gate when the wall of a shop collapsed burying four people under the debris, police said.

Asom and Arunachal police along with CRPF jawans and local people retrieved the injured and the bodies of the victims.

The injured were admitted to the nearby General Hospital where doctors said they 'were out of danger'.
