4 members of a family die in a landslide

Itanagar, Oct 04 (UNI) About four members of a family including a minor died leaving two others seriously injured in a massive landslide triggered by incessant rains yesterday.

The incident occurred near Asom's Banderdewa check gate when the wall of a shop collapsed burying the four people under the debris, police sources said.

Asom and Arunachal Police along with CRPF jawans and local public retrieved the victims.

The injured ones were rushed to the nearby General Hospital where the doctors said they were out of danger.
