No Indian in Women's Hockey Player of the Year award nominations
Madrid, Oct 3 (UNI) No Indian found a place in the nominations for the Women's Hockey Player of the Year award announced here today by the International Hockey Federation (FIH).
Indians were also absent from the list of nominations for the young player of the year award.
The nominations were decided by a survey of the coaches of the 12 participating teams at the ongoing World Cup here and international media representatives.
The winners of the two awards will be chosen through a ballot by players and coaches from the competing teams and announced on October 7 by FIH President Els van Breda Vriesman.
